Do you lay the heating mats?
We handle the electrical side: the supply, thermostat, floor sensor, connection and testing at each stage. Mats are often laid by your floor or tile fitter, as they sit in the adhesive or screed. We coordinate with floor fitters across Cardiff, and can advise on layout so cold spots and unheated areas are avoided.
Can underfloor heating go in a bathroom?
Yes, and bathrooms are one of the most popular places for it. BS 7671 requires RCD protection and the heating element must have a suitable earthed covering or grid. The thermostat usually goes outside the bathroom with only the floor sensor inside. We plan it to suit your layout.

How long does it take?
The electrical work is split across stages to suit your floor fitter: first fix, testing while the mat is laid, and final connection once the floor is finished. Each visit is usually short. The overall timescale depends mostly on the floor fitter and any adhesive or screed drying time.
